📏 Minimum Word Count Requirements

  • Undergraduate Applications: Minimum 250 words

  • Postgraduate / Master’s Applications: Minimum 500 words

Statements below the required word count may not be accepted.

  • How will this course help you achieve your career ambitions?

  • Do you have a clear plan or direction for your future?

  • How does this program support your development in that direction?


✍️ Writing Style Tips

  • Write in clear, professional English

  • Be honest, focused, and specific

  • Avoid generic phrases or copy-paste templates

  • Use paragraphs for structure and flow

  • Proofread carefully for spelling and grammar


Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Submitting a statement below the minimum word count

  • Failing to personalize the statement to the course or university

  • Copying content from online sources (plagiarism)

  • Using overly informal or casual language

  • Including irrelevant personal details
